It was very good, but they’re not fast except for that one guy in the wing where she was. There were nights when she needed help in the bathroom that she had to do it on her own because nobody came to help her. I am looking for a hospital bed for my sister-in-law to donate to them because I think nobody needs to be on that bed since it belongs to the trash. They need better consideration of the elderly, but I think the pricing is good. She shares a room with somebody else, and there’s just a bed, nightstand, and closet.
Sometimes you go into these places and they smell horrible, but that’s not the case with this one. They had stuff going on, it looked like they kept the residents kind of busy. It looked like they had the setup for doing all kinds of stuff. I met the executive director or whoever is in charge, and the person that was at the front desk, and they were both very, very nice. I had an appointment and they didn’t make me wait. The building was nice enough, it was not a brand new building, it was an older building but it was clean and kept up.

The staff was attentive and the facility was clean. But, the best thing I can say is that Mom would tell us everyday about how good the food was. When I would stop by to visit everyday after I got off work, she would tell me the favorite thing she had for lunch.

Definitely understaffed but the caretakers are found standing in the halls laughing and chatting, not answering the lights. Before I moved my Mother out of there, she was told numerous times that there was no hot water or clean towels and she could not have a shower. Food was never served in a timely manner and was cold and unappetizing and unappealing. Aids were often disrespectful to the patients and the patients were scared to report to the authorities for fear of retaliation.
